Deception! Lies and Deception!
Take a look at the cockpit scenes at the beginning of Epideme. It's quite obvious, at least on my TV here, that it's been zoomed in.
At the bottom of the frame, you can see some sort of ribbed affair. Was this scene originally shot to have the front of Starbug in it, and then they changed their mind...?

Ahh I thought that looked odd too, but couldn't quite tell why.
I was watching VII today. Is that line about Jane (is it Jane?) liking 'french apples' at the end of Beyond a Joke a rude joke? It sounds like a rude joke to me, but maybe I'm just depraved, or maybe not, because I don't get it.

I've always thought it was just ironic. I mean here we are, curry is a completely new taste experience (TM) and they're talking about apples from a different country which, erm, aren't.
So I don't think it's rude, it's just irony.
