News of the Screws

A slightly shortened version of BBC's More Great Comedy Moments is being given away free with tomorrow's News of the World. It features a picture of Series One era Rimmer on the cover, and the Kryten lying scene from Camille within. The downside, however, is that you have to go to a shop and buy a copy of the News of the World. Embarrassment factor: 91%.

I did the obviously awful criminal thing of sticking the bag containing the dvd from NOTW into the middle of the paper I actually bought.
I'm a naughty, naughty man...

Dang. On my merry old drunken walk home from the night bus on a Saturday, I pass a newsagents that always - by around 3am - has all the magazines/supplements for the Sunday papers sitting outside underneath a plastic sheet. If I'd have known about this before, I could have had one last night.

Nicking the free DVDs out of tabloid rags is killing the newspaper industry.

But if it saves you from having to pay for the News of the Scrote, then...

Even the broadsheets are giving out free DVDs these days.
