Songs that would include Dwarf references if they had an extra line

1) The Darkness - Seemed Like a Good Idea

But you know I would anything,
Anything you say,
I's cross a thousand miles of broken glass,
On my hands and knees.

With my flies unzipped.

How badly do you want Justin hawkins to be a Red Dwarf fan, dear?

I believe in a thing called advanced mutual compatibility.

'Curry Night'

Monday curry
Tuesday curry
Curry on a Friday night
I got Curry on Wednesday
Curry on Thursday
Curry on a Friday night

To be fair, that's not a very direct quote from 'Tikka to Ride', but never mind.

But he is a red dwarf fan!

By Karl on 29-04-05 @ 01:14

I believe in a thing called shit. Just listen to the ripple of my fart. Crap, Dwarf fandom sucks major ass at the moment due to lack of movie and posts about one of the worst bands ever fuck you fuck you all you obnoxious a-hole wankshafting cumbuckets of poo fffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucckkkk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Darkness are wank. Well, Get You're Hands Off My Woman is quite cool, BUT, like all their songs, it's pretty ridiculous. Fuck you right in the eye if you think otherwise!!! And I'm not slagging them just for the sake of it, I HAVE listened to the album, and they're just session musicians having a dick around. The novelty of seeing Hawkins in a catsuit has pretty much worn off, they'll have to try something different if they want to go any further, the ass-cheese smearing losers.

See I didn't know that.

By Spid on 29-04-05 @ 07:43

?!?!

Where the fuck did that come from?

By antipodean on 29-04-05 @ 07:43

You post regularly on two sites that are co-run by someone who thinks fairly strongly otherwise, so fuck yourself in the eye with a massive stick.

Calm down dear, its only a performing monkey.

2) Guns N' Roses - My Michelle

Your daddy works in porno,
Now that mummy's not around,
She used to love her heroin,
But now she's underground.

Sure it's bad news for her. But on the other hand, it's party time for all the little worms!

By Ian Symes on 29-04-05 @ 10:56

He he. My last post was meant to sound slightly ironic. Not that I like the Darkness, please don't even think that for a mutterfreakin second. I just didn't realise I had THAT much hatred in me. He he *puts on 'Permission To Land'*. Black Shuck has quite a decent riff. I think it was in School Of Rock, which IS a great film, thankyou. It's just when that nobcheese's voice comes in...

I don't mean to go off on one. Should save hatred for series VII & VIII.......... ......

By performingmonkey on 30-04-05 @ 04:10

"Ironic"? No. "Manic" fits the description much better. Or "insane".

By antipodean on 30-04-05 @ 04:15

Posted to ATVRD this morning:

If you're in trouble he can save the day,
He's brave and he's fearless and gives money away,
Without him the sherrif would have his way,

He's Robin, Robin, Robin Ho-od,
He's very sexy, you know you would,
I can't think of more rhymes - oh go-od,
That's the end then, I'm in a mo-od.

Don't worry, chick, some of us like them. And are prepared to have too much to drink, don a microphone and guitar and mime to them... :-/

Not so much mime... more shriek down the phone to their friends.

By Ian Symes on 04-05-05 @ 09:36

It would have been miming... if you could see.
